Hi! I’m Ma Glenn.
I’m Christine Glenn, an award-winning children’s author, filmmaker, poet, and actor, though the animals on our farm know me simply as Ma Glenn. I live in the Central Texas countryside with my husband, David (Pa Glenn), alongside a lively household of chickens, dogs, barn cats, honey bees, two ducks, and one very festive goose named Carol. Life on the land is a constant source of wonder, and it shapes nearly everything I create.
That inspiration comes to life in The BIG Adventures of the Glenn Acres Gang, a series of rhyming fables starring the real animals who share our home, and a Bronze Medalist for Best Picture Book Series in the 2026 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. Under the watchful care of Ma and Pa Glenn, each character stumbles into a BIG adventure and comes away with a lesson worth keeping.
The series includes Clyde’s BIG Book of BRAVE, Sue the Roo Goes on Strike!, The TALL and Small Tales of Koyo & Earl, Jolene’s BIG Day Out!, and the newest addition, The Tale of the Missing Chicken. I believe in the wonder of small things and the power of a story read aloud. When we read to children, we give them room to imagine a bigger, kinder world for themselves and for others.

About the illustrator
Oli Wonder, a talented artist and illustrator, hails from Ternopil, Ukraine. Since childhood, Oli has been captivated by the worlds found in books and fueled by a passion for drawing. This early love blossomed into a fulfilling career focused on children's book illustration. Oli finds immense joy in the creative process; collaborating with amazing authors and knowing that her illustrations bring delight and spark imaginations in young readers.
